Revd Iain Hodgins was born in Dublin. He attended Clontarf Presbyterian Church and received his schooling at St Andrew’s College, Dublin. Before entering the United Theological College in 1971, he worked in the Foreign Department of the Bank of Ireland. Ordained in 1975, he was called to five churches centred in the coal mining area around Blaina, Gwent. After eight years he took up a Post as Bursar of Tyndale House, Centre for Biblical Research in Cambridge, returning to Wales and to the Gower Pastorate in 1995. He is married to Christine and they have three grown up children and six grandchildren.
